Cloud peak

Sometimes you look up and the sky above you looks more like an upside down sea.

Old Friends

Getting back out the pass was just like catching up with an old friend. As was getting back to my favorite board.

Double trouble

A dodgy spool set up on my box brownie while I was in Indo meant most of the shots where ruined but  there where a few interesting double exposures to be salvaged.

Going just a little bit crazy after a few months on the boat.
Rasta enjoying the pacific pacific.
No crowds no wind no work, no complaints.

Melted Gold

300 miles out to sea, and not a ripple.
She certainly is a mystifying mistress.
Going nowhere fast.

HYDROPHILIA

Some friends are throwing a party
and its gonna be a doozy..

On the road again

Feet on the dash, windows down, watching through falling eyelids; the sun slice through trees, cane fields and power lines, Neil Young sending your mind adrift though crapy car speakers.

A-Fame

Swell Season

While land-lovers complain about the chill in the air and the winds blowing frost in from the hills of a morning, the surfers among them are letting out a quiet grin, its well season.

New Toy

Some interesting shots from an old box brownie i found.

Shaping with friends

Impromptu shaping bays, dodgy stands and sharing one set of tools between 5 people. Time well spent.

Theme

A theme has emerged which seems to be dictating a good part my habits and desires as well as my daily wandering thoughts.

The Dream

Nothing ignites my soul more that the prospect of sailing away.
No particular place to be and no particular person to please,
to just be free to explore, one day at a time.

Fins, Take 2

First surf on El Nuggerto was full of fun but proved to be a little premature, it seems 2 days is not quite long enough for fins to set with any strength. Back to the shed.
