El Nuggerto

Started shaping a new board this week. There where a lot of ideas tying to squeeze into not a lot of  board, but i think it will surf well.
5'1" tri hull twin, aka 'El Nuggerto'.

Country Livin'

Spent a lazy day at a my friends farm the other day made a cup of tea, went for a walk, hung out with some cows, took some photo's.

Australia is for surfing

My good friend Yohey came for a visit from japan last week and being a good friend he brought some swell with him too. For the two weeks he was here it seemed every where we went turned on a little bit just for him. There's karma for you.
this little 5'5" kookbox was the funnest board i have ever riden hands down.
look ma' no one out.

Broken days

There has been a fun filled little bank just down from my house all week which has given me a chance to get back on my mini fish and see how small i can tuck up.

Tea

After a little rain the tea tree lakes trickle into the ocean and create some pretty cool colours.

Hollow Water

The theme of the week: Barrels. They are everywhere! I cant remember ever being so spoilt with water cylinders, every day 4 foot and HOLLOW, i've stopped wearing sun screen!

Autumn Playground

The Pass has been a liquid playground this week with perfect little warm water waves and plenty of sun to dry out in.

Perfection in nature

Some times if you look closely enough, you can find beauty in the the most common place object.

Noosa one night stand

Nicked up to Noosa for 48 hours of flat out surfing.
My boards are trashed my arms are over cooked spaghetti strings.
But i'm stoked out of my brain.

Al Knost racking up some tip time.

Migrating North

I recently moved north in search of warmer waters and better waves (i found both).
These are some shot of the journey.

Exploring

Some shots I got while exploring some of the more secluded nooks of our east coast.

Tiny Tube

I love watching little micro waves like this one. They seem to  achieve a perfection that bigger waves are unable to match, and they are never spoiled by crowds.

Time Well Wasted

I took some time out last week and spent a few days camping in a local national park with a friend of mine. We got some really good waves and it was refreshing for both of us to surf some empty waves, do some reading and just slow things down a bit.

Sneaky Point Surprise

Remember when the mornings where off shore, the skies where clear and crisp and the swell came in those neat little lines.

bully romance

A talented little friend of mine recently started a blog and there are already plenty of tasty images for your eyes on there to explore. Take a look at bully romance.

Tube Rock

When the recent big swells hit and there where 8ft+ waves breaking off the rocks at Noth Avoca, I spotted these grommets getting shacked out at tube rock.

New bag for a new board

Sewed this puppy up out of a sleeping bag and a towel i found with a pocket on it.

Byron: Point wave gliding & highway driving

Wen't looking for a new nest this week up north and got some waves along the way.
